The Xbox 360 is Microsofts latest video game console. With this model they went on to make it a full featured entertainment center including the ability to upload music and movies from various sources to the unit and playback anytime, even during gameplay. Sounds like a very good idea.

However, even though the idea is sound, Microsoft made a few mistakes along the way. The number one problem facing the Xbox 360 seems to be a heat issue. As soon as you turn on the Xbox 360, you notice an incredible amount of heat shooting out of the unit. At this point, you can go turn off your furnace and allow the Xbox to heat your house. If you don't provide enough ventilation room for it, you get a whole lot of random crashing. Which brings up the next problem, random crashing. While heat seems to be the main cause of this, it seems to happen no matter how much ventilation you provide. There are many sites on the internet telling you how to troubleshoot the type of crashing you are experiencing. This in itself should be a warning. Many people are having problems with these consoles. At this point, I don't feel the need to go on. The Xbox 360 does have a lot of good entertaining games, with the ability to play DVD's and music it is a very good idea. Let's just hope that Microsoft fixes the problems before they release the next version of their Xbox console.
